STRENGTHS: Marianne is a very friendly little girl. She was raised in a very wealthy family, but chooses to hide that fact to better blend in with other people. She enjoys making friends, and is a social butterfly. She always manages to be a conversation starter, and has a wide circle of friends-muggle and magical. Marianne absolutely adores animals, and would do anything to help an animal in need.
WEAKNESSES: She has a major allergy to honey, and she often finds herself consuming honey without really knowing it. Marianne gets sick at the sight of meat, and would rather eat in her room instead of her family if they're serving meat. She's terrified of snakes and insects, and will run if she even catches sight of one. Marianne can't swim, and prefers to stay away from the water. The boat ride always stresses her to no end.
DETAILED PERSONALITY:
A social butterfly. Marianne always finds herself in interesting conversations and loves to laugh. She enjoys listening to jokes and funny stories, and equally enjoys telling them. She loves things that sparkle, and enjoys giving gifts. Marianne feels that it's better to give than receive. She cares (somewhat) about her appearance, but she's far from vain.
Marianne has a horrible fear of water, and has suffered anxiety attacks when she's been on a cruise with her family. She has a horrible fear that she'll fall into the water and drown, as she cannot swim.
When someone gets on her "bad side", she chooses to ignore them. She's been known to be an influential individual, and if she ignores them, there's usually a few others who follow her footsteps. She refuses to talk behind someone's back, as she thinks that's unattractive.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS:
Beverly and Tobias grinned at the three children. Ravin, Emily, and Marianne. "Go forth and do great things." Marianne's mother said, giving them each a kiss on the forehead. She was always such an intelligent woman, saying wise quotes and reading old books.
"Make lots of new friends."[/i] Her father piped in, rustling Marianne's hair and giving her a wink. She was the most sociable of the Rockefeller children.
Ravin carried one of Marianne's trunk, while Tobias carried Emily's. It was Emily's first year at Hogwarts, and Marianne could tell she was nervous. She turned to her little sister and gave her a tight hug. "Don't worry Em, you're gonna be great." Marianne said into her ear, smiling and patting her on the back as she climbed onto the train. "You can sit with me if you'd like, go on and pick us a seat." With that, her sister scurried away.
She turned back to Ravin and helped him and their father load the trunks onto the train. "Bye mummy, bye daddy. I'll write to you as soon as Emily's sorted." She said before taking Ravin's hand and mounting the train.
Marianne blew them a kiss as the train kicked into gear before retreating inside, excited to start the new year.
