The fact that he answered made Bella silence for a second and Evangeline felt like she could breathe again. "It's a trust that needs to be earned," She answered, "By proving you're worth it"

'So what are you going to do to earn my trust then?' Oliver asked, mostly wanting for her to see how this had to work both ways, at least logically, before he'd commit. Truthfully the moment she admitted he had a point, well...

He had a point, she supposed. "I'm not sure yet," She admitted, not sheepish at all, "How do you suggest I go about that?" She had only wanted to teach him a lesson about not calling her Angie.

'Figuring it out is all part of the adventure' Oliver laughed, more than a little amused by her assuming he was going to just give her the answers. Truth was, he didn't even really know the answer to the question himself, this was a bit of a learning curve for him, too.

"Maybe I'm not interested in an adventure" She countered, appraising him. He would be an interesting person to go on an adventure with. "How would I even know you're worth it?" Evangeline questioned. Of course, Bella was outraged, getting louder, but Ange was ignoring her; she was too intrigued by this boy who was apparently looking for trust.

'I suppose the best way to find out if I'm worth it or not would be to try it. Isn't that how you find out if you like a food or a new dress?' Oliver asked cheekily, positive there would be no getting around that. He felt he had a valid point and if she thought he didn't well that was her problem.

"Try what, though? Sitting around while you hit on girls?" Wasn't that all he did? She wouldn't be surprised. She could use a new dress though.

'Try coming on an adventure with me, then we can decide if the other is worthy of our trust by getting to know each other a little better. You know you want to' He mocked with a laugh. Oliver knew that it'd only be a matter of time before they ran into each other again even if she refused him today and running into each other around the castle meant they stood a good chance of developing some form of trust.

"What kind of adventure?" Bella was screeching again, telling her not to, but Evangeline ignored her again, despite the noise slowly becoming unbearable. It was like someone was screaming into her ears, but she tried to block it out.

'Well I suppose that would depend on what kind of adventure would get you trusting me quickest' Oliver shrugged, not really being serious. In fact, before he'd even given her a proper chance to reply he grabbed her hand, every intention of dragging her to wherever his feet led him until they found an adventure.

He was touching her. Why would he think that was okay? She felt like her skin was burning in his hand. "Where are you taking me?" She demanded, Bella shocked into silence for the moment and giving her a second to breathe.

'Not entirely sure just yet. I'll let you know when I work it out' Oliver told her with a grin, completely oblivious to the fact that she didn't like him touching her. It probably would have only encouraged him to do so if he did know though.

Evangeline pulled her hand, hoping it would stop him. "I'm not just going to follow you wherever" She told him, desperate to get her hand out of his. It wasn't a bad feeling; it was good. Strangely good.

'Oh yeah? Well then where will you follow me?' Oliver asked, coming to a stop and instead turning to face her, his eyebrows shooting upwards questioningly. Funnily enough, he found himself starting to wonder whether this was really going to be worth it with what he'd seen so far.

That was a good question. When he looked at her like that, she didn't hear anything - she had the ability to think for herself, and she couldn't think of anything. The only answer she had for him directly contradicted the thing she'd just said; she felt like in that moment she could follow him anywhere. But she was too stubborn to say that. "To get food" She said after a second of just looking at him, "Or to bed. Maybe elsewhere, depending."
