STRENGTHS:
Marcus is extremely good at adapting to most social situations, he is a very friendly guy that just wants to get all up in everyone else's business and wants to be everyones best friend. He has a knack for all things physical, be it building, drawing or growing plants. He has always had a keen mind for herbology which is why he was accepted into the position as a teacher. He always brings life into a party or conversation with a mind that runs at 7468 miles a minutes he is always able to input new ideas and opinions.
WEAKNESSES:
Marcus is the kind of guy that has little patience when he is put into a situation that he doesn't want to be in. Be it a stuffy crowd at a high class party, or the centre of attention in a group who think they can judge others and bully them. He also isn't good at doing what he's told, he grew up all on his own and is used to being his own boss. He was never good at wand magic, for some reason he could never excel in charms or transfiguration (though he was a wiz in the potions department).
DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Marcus is a try anything once kind of guy. He once spent an entire year away with Indian Buddhists to obtain spiritual wellness. All of his friends assumed he had died.
He remembers Hogwarts as being the best time of his life. As a former Puff he was surrounded by loyal and fair friends, who didn't judge other or feel like they could be better than them. He remembers the time he spent on the quid ditch pitch, he ruled it in his time. He was a wiz in potions and herbology and he knew deep in his heart that his love of the castle and all that it holds would lead him back here. And now a teaching position was the perfect thing to happen to him.
He is single, and with no family left (his mother who raised him all on her own was killed in a house fire which he suspects wasn't created from natural causes). He was starting to spiral, a guy who loves the party lifestyle and having no one to keep in him check, it was bound to happen. When the position was offered to him, he took it seeing it as a beacon of hope and the promise of a not so lonely life.
Turns out that teaching is just his thing, his natural charisma and bubbly personality leaves his class entertained and he makes the boring facts interesting.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS:
The ol' girl was as beautiful as ever, sparking scarlet along side the platform. Standing among the chaos that only magical students could create, Marcus was on supervision duty. Wow there was a mess here, he shouldn't have offered to supervise... But then again this is when the students are the most fun. He pulled his suitcase along behind him (which was just filled with muggle potting soil) and made his way to the first carriage of the train.
