Rowan was looking forward to her Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff class. She knew that it would easier to handle than her Slytherin Gryffindor class. She was a little worried about that one, but she had dealt with the rival houses together plenty of time before. She had set up the classroom differently than the normal desks and chairs for this first class. The entire room was clear except for a circle of couches and armchairs in the very center of the room, and a pile of hidden objects in the middle. She thought it would be a fun way to start the year if they all sat in a more comfortable setting everyone would choose and object and then she would tell them what to do with the object for example there was tea pot and whoever chose the tea pot would have to make it tap dance. It just seemed like a more fun way to figure out what they remembered from last year.

Jess liked Charms. It was a good skill to have and it wasn't too hard. It was mostly memorising incantations and wand movements, and, thanks to her Ravenclaw brain Jess was a natural at that. She was thrown for a mooment as she entered the room by its lack of chairs and desks.
"Good Morning Professor." Jess said with a smile when she realised that this wasn't going to be the average Charms class. She loved trying new things and this looked like a lot of fun. She stood infront of the strange assortment of objects, trying to find a pattern in the seemigly random collection.

Charms was Vivienne's favorite class. She excelled and always enjoyed every minute of it. Charms was fun to study, practice, and learn. When it came time to go to class, she was more than ready.
Vivienne had her wand in hand, and her tools for class stowed away in her bag. She had her hair tied up in a ponytail, as she was ready to get down to business. She opened the door and was somewhat shocked at the new arrangement of he room, but not to the point she didn't know what to do. Jess was already there, and she proceeded to walk in, examining the pile of things in the room.
"Good morning Professor Harrison." She said with a smile to the professor. Viv then turned her attention to Jess and eyed the items.
"So, what do you make of it?" She asked, referring to the organized chaos of the room.

Nathan was surprised to see that he was third to arrive to yet another class. His Ravenclaw early promise he made to himself was easy to keep apparently.
Charms wasn't his worst subject, though it wasn't his best He was glad that he had it with the Ravenclaw students, they didn't seem to make fun of him when he couldn't quiet master a spell. He made his way over to Viv and Jess, standing next to Viv, "Morning professor." He said, eyeing the circus of objects in the centre of the room.

Rowan watched as people arrived. "Good morning everyone." She took a seat on a rather squishy cushion situated right in front of her desk. "I'm sure you are rather confused at the array of objects, but if you all pick an object I will then tell you what you will be doing today. I would tell you first but it might effect your choice and I would rather not have that happen if it is all the same to you besides it is more fun if it is a surprise that is the entire idea behind this class really something unexpected." She smiled hoping it would make the students more relaxed though some students never relaxed she knew that well enough from the past.

Nathan eyed the huge pile of random items... Something small? There wouldn't be anything to do that would be difficult to the small alarm clock. He pointed his wand and beckoned it to himself, getting in before anybody else could make a decision.

Jess's eyes lit up at the thought of surprise spell work, how wonderful! She surveyed the pile, looking over each object carefully before settling on the old kettle close to her. She pointed her wand at it and caught it as it zoomed towards her, she looked over at Nathan and smiled at his choice of objects. A clock, that was very... Nathan.
