'But how can we really be sure that there wasn't a loophole. I mean there was someone else that prophecy could have been about. It was all about choices, perhaps if someone else had made the choice and committed...I guess we'll never know though' Declan shrugged, trailing off somewhat.

She nodded, still curious as to why he cared. "Were your parents involved in the war at all?" She asked, only because she suddenly found him incredibly interesting.

'Not as much as I believe they would have liked to have been' Declan confessed, not even put out by her curiosity. It was a two way conversation, he figured, and she'd definitely earned his respect and so the questions really weren't bothering him, at least not so far, anyway.

She nodded thoughtfully. "My father was a death eater" She told him though he hadn't asked. It was publicized at the time, so it was no secret.

"Exactly. I don't think there's such a thing as a bad choice. We learn - whether we make a right or wrong choice." She said a little more timidly. It was one of her less popular opinions. Not that she ever really shared her opinions anyway.

"I guess that's true" She agreed, "But even if you're not learning from the choice, you learn the choice is bad" Scarlett pointed out, smiling at him. This was fun. Normally she barely spoke this much in a week, but he was interesting.
