"I think I'd trust you" Scarlett admitted. Though she didn't know him well, they seemed to be on the same page about most things.

'Oh. I...I think I trust you too' Declan said with a frown after a moments thought. It could be true, couldn't it? He'd conversed with her for ages, and he'd let all his guards down, or so it seemed. That was trust, right?

She smiled. That was nice. "I promise I won't break it" Scarlett told him, fiddling with her hair.

'No problem' Declan replied, more because it felt like the right response than anything and he was lost for what else to say really.

She smiled at him, a bit sheepish now, and tucked her hair back. "I should probably get going. Dinner is soon, I think"

'Oh, right, dinner' Declan nodded, rising to his feet and turning to leave before the idea struck him and he offered to walk her, figuring they'd be heading in the same general direction.

"Oh, sure, that'd be nice" Scarlett nodded, scooping up her books. She couldn't believe how the study session had turned out; making a new friend and all.

Declan simply nodded, feeling there wasn't really anything much he could say to that without repeating himself and so he left it at that, waiting patiently for her before starting for the exit, surprised to find that now that she'd mentioned dinner he was quite hungry.
