STRENGTHS: Chuck is incredibly gifted with atleticism. She's always played quidditch and played well. Part of the reason she's so skilled is her ability to work with a team. She's excellent with Intuition as well, and tends to get strong 'feelings' about how things are going to play out. She's a great leader.
WEAKNESSES: Being a tom-boy has left Chuck without many romantic entanglements. She doesn't know how to be in a relationship properly, and so tends to distance herself from people. Similarly, she feels that very few boys would be interested in her, and becomes something of a self-deprecating person. She's also not the best in school and has trouble focusing in class. She has no competency for potions whatsoever.
DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Chuck does not tolerate argument from anyone who challenges her opinions, for once she has reached a conclusion, its truth seems to her very self-evident; and among her faults is an impatience of criticism and a greed for approval. That being said, her character is on the whole balanced, diplomatic and sometimes short tempered.
She is also sensitive to the needs of others and has the gift of understanding the emotional needs of her companions and meeting them with her own innate optimism - she has the innate ability to make someone happy or terribly depressed, because she is great at finding others' weaknesses and using them to her advantage. She is a very social human being. She loathes cruelty, viciousness and vulgarity and detest conflict between her own group of friends, so they does her best to cooperate and compromise with those in her inner circle, since her ideal for her own circle and for society as a whole is unity.
Her impatience for criticism and even more for betrayal outweighs her desire for unity. She has a highly mean streak, once crossed, that leads her to passive-aggressively plan the downfall of those who have upset her in any given way. She has the tendency to plan meticulously before she attacks, something that Chuck learned from her years of quidditch playing. She prefers to make plans and follow them than to act rashly.
She likes the opposite sex to the extent of promiscuity, and tends to indulge in romanticism bordering on sentimentality. Unfortunately, she jumps into relationships without her usual planning, and tends to get bored, then engage in frivolity, flirtatiousness, and subsequently shallow behaviours that lead to the end of most of her romantic endeavours. She prefers the idea of romance to the reality of it.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS:
Her truck was heavy. Now, that wasn't to say that Chuck couldn't handle it. She certainly could. She was a seventeen year old Gryffindor - of course she could! So when someone offered her help she politely declined, determined to do it herself. It wasn't until someone slid a hand under her trunk and took it along with his, though, that she realized what was meant by the question. He was flirting. And being nice. She didn't quite understand why, but it was still appreciated. Tucking a strand of her recently chopped hair behind her ear, she smiled. "Thanks." She said, boarding the train with him.
