STRENGTHS:
Michael is brilliant at Transfigurations and potions. He has a keen ability to make people laugh and doesn’t care if they are laughing at him. He is a loyal friend as long as you are loyal right back. He is a studious clever type who would have to actually try in order to get bad grades. He is musically talented both vocally and instrumentally. He is known for his kind nature but has a mean hit when it comes to quiditch.
WEAKNESSES:
Michael has a tendency to become too serious when he isn’t laughing. He over reacts to things that aren’t important. He is awful at Care of Magical Creature (which is why he dropped it.) He can’t help but try and help people even at the most inappropriate times. He is slightly accident prone, but never seriously injures himself. He can’t say no to music or chocolate.
DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Michael can be both the goofiest and the most serious person you will ever meet. He is always trying to laugh and make others laugh as well he thinks the world needs more laughter and won’t let anyone tell him differently. It is odd when he is not smiling. He doesn’t have the most friends but he is one of the best people to have as a friend because he will always back you up even if you are wrong. In his free time he keeps people smiling by playing music in the common room unless everyone is studying since they would tell him to stop. He has an inability to leave someone be if he thinks they need saving.
He tries to be friendly to everyone, but sometimes he is a loner without meaning to be. He reads a good deal and can get so absorbed in a book he doesn’t even realize that someone is talking to him. When he is studying he becomes anti social. He is willing to help his friends with their class work, but unless you ask him when he isn’t already studying he probably won’t even realize it. He enjoys being with other people, but sometimes he wonders the castle just to be alone so he can think. He makes assumptions about people that aren’t always right which can lead those people at least to dislike him. Due to the fact that he sometimes jumps to conclusions he gets himself in trouble more than he would like.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS:
Michael swatted his moms hand away as she tried to brush his hair for the tenth time that morning. He had told her how annoying it was to have her fluttering about like that. He loved his family of course, but he was seventeen and didn’t need his mom always trying to fix him the way she had when he was young. He put up with it though since he was going to the station alone he figured it was only fair to let his mom do her best to make him ‘presentable’ before he left. He gave his dad one last hug and ruffled his little brothers hair tell them all he would see them for Christmas before disaparating.
He appeared on the crowded train station with a few of his year mates also popping into existence at the designated apparition points. He carried his trunk up the stairs onto the nearest train car. He peeked in a few compartments before he found an empty one. He knew he was early so he didn’t bother to look for his friends since they probably wouldn’t be arriving until a few minutes before the train left. He situated himself in a corner where he could look at the window if he liked. He saw all the families saying goodbye to each other. It made him slightly regret his decision to not let his family see him off. He shook the thought away and opened his book immersing himself in something other than the fact that his family wasn’t out there with all the rest.
