Corey cocked an eyebrow at Eden, sure, he could so this, in fact, it sounded almost like.... fun.
"Yeah, ok." He said, shifting in his position, facing the piano again and re positioning his fingers. HE thought for a moment, should it be soft, fast, sad, dramatic? He tapped his fingers lightly on the keys, trying to decide.
"Try this out." He said as he launched into a sweet song, full of pauses, highs and lows.

She liked the tune he had and had him play it again where she began to play the violin with it, making it sound magical, and closing her eyes as she thought of a song and she got one as she sang from her heart.

Corey stoped playing with a genuine smile.
"Hey, that sounded awesome." He said, turning to face her. "We make a good team." He added, suddenly noticing how close they were.

She smiled at Corey and nodded "Yes we can make beautiful music together" She chuckled and noticed it to. And didn't know what to do, she didn't know the rules with guys since she didn't know the rules about what they liked and didn't like, and he was rather cute but she threw that idea right out the window. "Your very good, should have a band. I could be the singer and you would be my lead man on the piano" She said happily. |

Corey gave a half smile at the suggestion. That would be great if he could get the energy to write some proper songs.
"Yeah, right." He said with a raised eyebrow. "I heard there was another kid trying to start a band, go try with him for a spot." He said, shaking his head. Corey didn't know much about the future, but he knew for certain he wasn't going to be spending it in the spotlight. That was for sure.

She smiled at him "Your much to hard on yourself Corey you know that? I believe you have the skills. Perhaps you will find a reason to write music, anything from a love song to something powerful." She said looking at him and sighed a bit, she really liked him. He was rather unique and enjoyed the conversations with him. He made her want to do a really great job on taking care of the prefects. She hadn't smiled this much in a very long time. |
