STRENGTHS: He is exceptional with numbers and other subjects that don't have a 'grey' area. Landon understands the world as black or white. He's very determined and will do anything to succeed. He wants to be the best in his chosen field, though he has not chosen one yet. His natural charm and charisma allow him to get almost anything he wants.
WEAKNESSES: He's exceptionally low in self worth; while he plays arrogant and intelligent he really is very much insecure. He also can't understand that not everything is black and white; things that involve more finesse and a different kind of understanding are gone unnoticed if not ignored. He doesn't take kindly to criticism and he hates those that he considers to be 'better' than himself, though he outwardly respects them. He has a hard time letting people get close to him and tends to treat his friends like coworkers.
DETAILED PERSONALITY: Perfectionist - But not in the conventional sense. He doesn’t aim for general perfection, necessarily. He aims for perfection as he sees it. His hair always looks perfectly out of place, for example. Put simply, Landon likes things his own way, but he likes them perfectly his own way. So much so, in fact, that some would call him obsessive compulsive.
Suave - Landon is devastatingly suave. He knows just what to say and when to say it. Of course, his gifts help in this department, but he also has an innate charming quality. He can make a person feel on top of the world in only a few minutes, make them feel totally loved, desired, whatever they want to feel, he can provide.
Wordsmith - Similarly, Landon is quite good at choosing the perfect word for what he needs to say. It’s a gift he has, and why he does so well with women and professors alike.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS:
His mother was crying. Landon would have thought after this having happened six times prior she would figure out that there was no need to cry, but there she was, standing there bawling her eyes out. His father, on the other hand? Nowhere to be seen. He was in the United States, negotiating some variety of treaty. Landon pretended he didn't care. After a quick goodbye to his mother he boarded the train, letting out a sigh of relief. He hated being at home. Hogwarts was a welcome change.
