Zacharias Levi Bordeaux
AGE: 15
BIRTHDAY: 6th October
BLOOD STATUS: Halfblood
FAMILY: Zach’s father is called Leander Bordeaux and works at the Ministry of Magic as an Auror. His wife is called Genevieve Bordeaux and they are both 40 years old and met each other when they were at Hogwarts, both being in the Gryffindor house. He has quite a few cousins too.
WAND: 11.5”, Oak Wood, Thestral Tail Hair, Rigid
BOGGART: A Transfiguration textbook manifesting itself into millions of flying insects, including moths and flies.
PATRONUS: A Black Wolf
LIKES: Making lame jokes, outrageously flirting, playing Quidditch, large glasses of butterbeer and having a good old laugh with his friends.
DISLIKES: A vast majority of the Slytherin house, early mornings, rock cakes, liars and losing Quidditch matches.
STRENGTHS: He loves being part of a team and playing Quidditch brings out a good side in him. He is a talented player and enjoys winning far too much for his own good. Zacharias always looks on the bright side of things and tries to make light of serious situations. His favourite subject is Defence against the Dark Arts and is the only one in which he can excel in. He enjoys duelling and is quite good, although he could do with a little extra practice. Zach is loyal to all of those he cares about and will stick up for them defiantly in their time of need. He is also a persevering person and nothing can stop him achieving something if he has set his mind on it.
WEAKNESSES: His main weakness is a lack of concentration, a partial explanation for his bad grades and why he doesn’t do so well in any form of exams. Zacharias can’t sit still long enough to read through a textbook, therefore studying becomes nonexistent and homework becomes a chore for him – unless it’s about something dangerous in Defence against The Dark Arts. Zach is very judgemental in regard to all Slytherin students and ensures that he is as rude as possible towards each and every one of them. He cannot multitask whatsoever and only likes to concentrate on one thing at once, otherwise it becomes too much for him.
DETAILED PERSONALITY: Zacharias is a friendly person towards most people, with the main exclusion being all Slytherin Students. He just doesn’t trust them and probably never will, as his mind has been made up. He makes a lot of lame jokes which nobody seems to laugh at but he doesn’t really care as long as he enjoys them. Zach can be a big flirt at times and it sometimes appears as if he is attracted to all females, including mermaids! But joking aside, he is a sucker for pretty girls with a kind heart.
Overall he is a positive but slightly stubborn individual who likes to meet new people and generally have a good time with his friends. He has a strong aversion to studying and most class work. He has had two serious relationships during his time at Hogwarts, but neither lasted for very long. Zach is a carefree guy just looking to joke around and enjoy his time at Hogwarts.
PLATFORM NINE AND THREE QUARTERS: Zacharias walked onto the platform, pulling along his trolley – which was loaded with his suitcase and owl cage for Minnie. His mother trailed along after him, at a much slower pace. He had tried to say his goodbyes whilst they were travelling to the platform, however his parents insisted on giving him a proper send off. It was rather embarrassing but he was thankful that he had parents who actually cared about him. His mother gave him a heartfelt hug and wrapped her arms around him tightly. Zach had to physically pry his mothers arms off him before giving his father a much more manly ‘hug’, which was more of a pat on the back. He gave them both a smile, before lugging his trolley onto the train. Once on the train, Zacharias found an empty compartment and set down his things on the seat. He decided to load them properly once the train had set off. Just as he was about to locate his parents in the crowd, he was distracted by the sound of the compartment door opening. The train set off quickly then, startling him a little. Zach felt a little guilty for not waving to his parents but felt childish in doing so. He took a mental note to write them a letter as soon as he went into his dorms.. Or maybe in a few days.
