Fiona had a terrible day in class. She had studied so hard for her transfiguration class and still felt like she did terrible on the exam. She left from the class and headed right for the owlery. She climbed the steps of the tower. Once she reached the top of the stairs she was attacked my owls. They flew around her head and yelled at her at the top of their lungs. "Yeah, yeah, calm down guys."
Fiona reached into her bag to get the treats she always brought for the owls. All of a sudden a reddish blur came and grabbed the bag from her hands. "SORREN! You get back here! You can not have all those treats for yourself. Sorren, I mean it. Bring that back." Fi held her arm out and frowned at her owl. The red barn owl stared back at her and hooted. Finally he grabbed the bag of treats and flew back to Fi. "Thank you." Fi kissed her owl on top of him head. She grabbed the bag and started to distribute treats to owls.
Fi always thought that animals were better than humans. Whenever she felt overwhelmed or stressed, like she was now, she always came to be with the owls. Sure, Sorren was her own owl that she had had for a long time, but she loved all of owls there. She may not know all of their real names but she nicknamed all of them and knew each one individually.
Fi sat on the edge on the rail and pet Sorren.
